Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act

November 19, 2009

Yesterday, Senate leadership unveiled their national health care reform bill.  Although the House has already voted on their own version, the Senate’s process and debate will take several weeks.  The first vote to advance the bill will take place this Saturday.  The two bills will eventually need to be formed into one and agreed by both chambers before it can be submitted to the President to be signed into law.  The schedule for a final signing may still finish this year.
